Removal of skin tags

Skin tags are a common problem manifested by the appearance of small skin bumps that grow mainly in the skin of the neck and folds (armpits, under the breasts, in the groin folds) and cause aesthetic discomfort mainly due to a non-smooth feeling, or when they are caught in hair, jewelry or items of clothing and are torn or get injured and create a painful local inflammatory reaction.

The cause is usually genetic - and it is usually easy to identify other members in the family who suffer from the problem. The problem is aggravated when it appears in those with a high body weight.

A unique form of the phenomenon, especially common in those with a dark skin tone and in which multiple lesions can appear on the facial skin that may cause severe aesthetic disturbance.

The treatment of these lesions is not complicated on the one hand, but requires experience and skill. Some remove the lesions using scissors, a knife, or liquid nitrogen and some remove them using different types of electrical devices.

Dr. Gilead has a lot of experience in treating these lesions in the clinic with excellent results and without scars. The treatment is not included in the price of the visit to the clinic and is carried out for a separate fee.
